Online Relationship and Couples Counseling: Los Angeles

Even before Covid, many couples in Los Angeles were moving to online couples therapy. Meeting with your therapist online provides individuals and couples with a variety of benefits while still providing them with high quality counseling services.

Some couples report that they prefer online counseling because it means no traffic and no hassling with parking, which lets face it, in Los Angeles is a big issue.

Other couples share that they enjoy the comfort that online counseling provides them. They get to meet in the location that works best for them. Some couples that I meet with log into their sessions from their backyard, others login from their living room or bedroom, and for couples that travel for work, they log in from separate locations.

One couple I worked with loved online counseling because it removed the anxiety they were feeling about friends and co-workers seeing them come and go from a therapists office. Online counseling allowed them to meet with the therapist from their home, allowing them to limit the people that they might have seen coming, going or while waiting to see their therapist.

  • Before Covid sent most of into work from home mode, many of my client’s were couples that traveled for work. Traveling frequently for work meant that they often had to miss their appointment, re-schedule appointments or they had a hard time making any progress because they couldn’t establish consistency with their therapist. Meeting online means that if you or your partner travel for work, you are still able to meet with a therapist on a regular basis.
